This message is from a preacher friend of Chris Collett in Texas:Please pray for our daughter, Amanda Dennie. She is having brain surgery on Monday, Apr. 30th at Tyler. She has a congenital brain malformation (called a Chiari protrusion), which presses on her spinal cord causing her to collapse without warning. When we first adopted her, the doctor told us that he thought her soft spot was closing too soon, but back then, they didn't have MRIs where they could tell what was wrong. Anyway, they are going to remove the hone on the back of her skull, and then take out her top vertebrae to make room for the protrusion. Thankfully, although it is a very dangerous surgery it is something they can fix. She and her husband Brett, and their son Austin, are all faithful members of the Lord's church in Mabank, and we would appreciate you putting them on your prayer list. We believe the faithful fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much! Please pray fervently for our beloved daughter. Thank you! David McCain
